What Does Landscape Lighting Cost in Phoenix?

- An after-dark walkthrough — we look at the property at the hour you’ll actually be using it, because a yard reads completely differently at 8pm than at 2pm
- A fixture-by-fixture plan — type, placement, beam spread, aiming angle and colour temperature for each location, not a fixture count
- Layered light — uplight, downlight, path and wall wash working together, which is what separates designed lighting from a row of path lights
- Zoning and controls — grouping the system so the entry, the trees and the back yard can run independently, on schedule or from your phone
- A restrained hand — the most common mistake in Phoenix garden lighting is too much light in too many places. Contrast is what makes a property look expensive after dark

Replacing an Old or Failing Landscape Lighting System
If your landscape lighting is failing, we replace old systems with new ones — we don’t take on repair work on systems another company installed. We service and maintain everything we install, but patching someone else’s system means warranting wire, splices and fixtures we’ve never seen, and we won’t put our name on that.
It’s usually the right call anyway. Older Phoenix systems tend to have direct-buried splices with no serviceable connectors, wire of unknown gauge routed to no plan, discontinued fixtures with no replacement parts, and halogen-era transformers sized for loads nobody runs anymore. Chasing one dead section on a system like that often costs more than it’s worth and leaves you with the same failures next season.
Signs it’s time to replace rather than limp along: whole sections going dark, hazed or yellowed lenses, a transformer that buzzes or trips, fixtures swallowed by fifteen years of plant growth, or any system still running halogen. Modern low-voltage LED draws a fraction of the power, which usually means a smaller transformer and a cleaner design — and a well-designed replacement often uses fewer fixtures than the system it replaces, placed where they actually do something.
